Zoo Med Repti Bark Substrate is made from the bark of fir trees. It makes a perfect substrate for reptiles from humid, tropical or forest regions as it absorbs moisture and then releases it into the air, thereby helping maintain higher humidity. Unlike some inferior substrates, smaller chips ensure better moisture retention and also prevent livefood from hiding between bigger chunks.
